BOS @ TOR GAME #3 L 5-2

The atmosphere around the city of Toronto and outside the ACC was like no other. The first Home playoff game since Jeremy Roenick broke Leaf fans Hearts with a slap-shot from the boards just inside the blue line to knock us out of the 2004 playoffs.
Boston came in to Toronto and took care of there business. Out hitting Toronto 51-48 and absolutely destroying the Leafs in the face off circle with a little help from the lines man winning 45 face offs to the Leafs 30.
The one area the Leafs were better in was shots. Out shooting the more physical Bruins 47-38.
Unfortunately for Toronto Tukka Rask (former leafs prospect) stood on his head making 45 saves and backstopping his team to a 5-2 win and a 2-1 series lead.
Boston jumped out to a 2-0 lead and made it hard for the fans to get in the game.
Jake Gardiner scored his 1st career playoff game making it 2-1 but by the end if the 2nd Boston was up 4-1.
:47 seconds into the 3rd Phil Kessel scored for the 2 nd game in a row and thats as close as the Buds would get as David Krejci would put the pick in the empty net at 18:43 to seal the deal for the more playoff experienced Bruins.

I would like to dedicate these playoff writings to the memory of Mickey Hamill one of the greatest Men I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and learning from
